How do you participate in Challenges?

You can use any native CAD software to enter a Challenge on GrabCAD as long as you also upload a neutral format like STEP or IGS. Some Challenges require additional formats. If you do need something extra, it is noted in the Requirements and Rules section on the Challenge page. It’s important to read our Challenge Terms, too. Always use the “Submit entry” button and feel free to ask questions for the Challenge jury in the comments!

How do you get feedback on your Challenge entry?

The earlier you submit your entry the more likely you are to receive feedback from the Community and jury members. It’s a win-win situation: your design will benefit as this will help you create a new version closer to what the Challenge Sponsor needs and the Sponsor gets higher quality options. If you have any questions before you get started, feel free to ask them in the comments on the main Challenge page.

You won a Challenge, now what?

All winners will be contacted by the GrabCAD staff to get your contact information and any other information needed to get your prize to you. Payment is made through PayPal. Currently we cannot make payments through any other methods. If you want to reach out to us about the process, you can email challenges@grabcad.com. We will never ask you for secure information like your social security number, bank accounts, or date of birth. Place a report if someone seems to be phishing for this information.
